Interview with Shelia
JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Shelia: There was access to medicine if needed.
Medication came I believe twice a day but
I didnt need any.
JM: How did you get your medications?
Shelia: I didnt take medication
Inmates that took medicine had to stand
in line and have their meds issued to
them by the jail house nurse.
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Shelia: I didnt witness any drug abuse while I
was in jail. The facility was very strict on
the types of drugs inmates could use and
most medication could only be used if
you have proof of health issues. You had
to be okayed by the jail nurse.
