Interview with Ron, Candice and Cliff

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Ron: Orange jumpsuits. Day and night. The jail doesn't give you underwear or socks. I think you could buy underwear or socks in commissary.
Candice: You can keep your underwear if they are white but everytyhing elsr has to be put in your property
Cliff: socks, t shirt, unerwear if you were lucky enough to have some one bring you some

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Ron: Orange jumpsuits. Orange slippers that were plastic, with exposed toes.
Candice: I would not care about the color of the uniform but it shoud be two peices instead of a jumpsuit and be clean not dingy
Cliff: in o,k condition i guess. you had a shirt pants and shower shoes. sometime the shoes where not in the best of conditions or to small, same as the uniform

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Ron: The only difference in clothing was that some of the jumpsuits looked newer and cleaner than others and those were in higher demand.
Candice: No all of the clothes are dingy so its nothing to look for
Cliff: everyone wanted the new stuff or the stuff in the best condition

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Ron: No, the uniform was the same.
Candice: They both wear the same thing
Cliff: don't know, didn't see any females
