Interview with Ben and Katrina

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Ben: Green and white. We called it candycane. Pants and shirt.
Katrina: Standard jail clothes. You had stretch pants and top... both blue.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Ben: Just what they gave us.
Katrina: Just what they gave you.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Ben: You could get shoes and hat maybe some socks if you wanted from the commissary.
Katrina: Not really. You could get extra things at the commissary if you wanted.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Ben: The women wore solid blue.
Katrina: Aside from what we wore underneath, not really.
