Interview with Ben and Katrina
JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Ben: I started to have back and shoulder pain so they
gave me Tylenol twice a day.
Katrina: Yes, several times I was on medication.
JM: How did you get your medications?
Ben: They bring it to you two times. Once in the
morning and once at night.
Katrina: Twice a day, they would make rounds before
breakfast and after dinner.
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Ben: They write you up and put you in lock down.
Sometimes it was for a week or sometimes like for
15 days.
Katrina: They would put you in solitary but I didn't see a
lot of that while I was there.
