Interview with Timmy, Michael, Lindsay and Frank

JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time?
Timmy: Virtually nothing. Rec is twice a week for a couple hours and the dorms have games and TV.
Michael: nothing. just a few hrs outside twice a week
Lindsay: None
Frank: YOU GOT REC FOR 1 HR A DAY UNLESS RAINING OR ON LOCKDOWN WE COULD PLAY BASKETBALL MAINLY THATS ALL OTHERR THAN THAT YOU JUST SIT AROUND AND WORKOUT WITH HOMEMADE LIKE THE BED FRAMES PILED TOGETHER OR ALOT OF CARDS AND DOMINOES HAD TO BE CAREFUL WHEN PLAYING SPAIDS WITH THE BLACK FOLK THEY GET PRETTY CARRIED AWAY WITH THAT

JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details.
Timmy: Yes, we had access to what little there is available all day.
Michael: never had access
Frank: WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? ENTERTAINMENT? WHAT ENTERTAINMENT? TV THATS ALL AND NOWADAYS I HEAR THAT THE SHERRIF LETS THE GAURDS SET THE CHANNELLS TO WHAT THEY WANT THEY "SAY " ITS TO KEEP THE INMATES FROM FIGHTING OVER THE PROGRAMS BUT ITS REALLY JUST ANOTHER MEANS OF HIM (THE SHERRIFF) CUTTING COSTS SO THEY CAN POCKET THE GOVERNMENT MONEY!!!$$$

JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail?
Timmy: No. You can do exercise in the dorms-just calisthenics, pushups, jogging, crunches, etc.
Michael: no
Frank: NO OF COURSE NOT YOU HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO DO PUSH UPS AND THE LIKE BUT THEY DONT HAVE WIEGHTS OR WORKOUT EQUIPMENT = FIGHTING

JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise?
Timmy: 2 hours twice a week.
Michael: twice a week for 2 hrs
Lindsay: 2 times a week 1 hour
Frank: 1 HR A DAY UNLESS RAINING OR ON LOCKDOWN PLAYED BASKETBALL WATCHED OR JUST WALKED AND TALKED PLAY CARDS THE OUT SIDE YARD IS SURROUNDED BY TALL CONCRETE QWALSS AND BARBED FENCING SO NO RUNNING AROUND

JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held?
Timmy: I did not go to church while I was there. Services are offered though.
Michael: dont know. never asked
Lindsay: Yes'classroom
Frank: YEA THEY WERE OK EVERY SUNDAY OF COURSE AND WEDNESDAYS TOO I THINK UNLESAS BUT IF YOU WERE IN THE FAITH BASED PROGRAM THEY HAD YOU HAD STUDIES AND GROUP ALOT BETTER BUT I THINK THEY DISCONTINUED THAT TOO TOO MUCH COST ONCE AGAIN$$$$$$$
