JM: How often could you receive visitors? Trisha: This is my 3rd biggest complaint. You can have
visitors come 3 times a week but they are all
video visits. You have to fight for a camera
because there are only 2 cameras for the pod and
about 150 guys that want visitation. First come
first serve. Jared: On a screen minister never in person unless at court or inmate
worker.they were special and couldn't talk to us no matter
what. Lucia: you could recieve visitors as often as they wanted
to. the visits were over a kiosk
JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you? Trisha: They have to wait and wait and wait. Its not
convenient for them at all. Jared: I don't reaaly know I never asked I just always tried to have a
good conversation when my FAM. And friends came to c be in
jail. Lucia: the visitors that i had did not have to go through
a process. seeing as there was no physical contact
or interaction. only over a kiosk though
JM: What was the visiting environment like? Trisha: It was over video so it was like skyping. It was
more like a phone call than a visit. Jared: It was terrible. You were in the same room as about fifty guy
sand they could all see who you seen and who you seen could
see them and I would have preferred to he more private. I
didn't like it because a child mokester could see your child
when you got visits. Lucia: there were other inmates walking around behind me
when my mother or friends came to visit because
the kiosk was in the main area of the pods. in the
visiting peoples area there were walls that kept
some privacy for them. screens had burry
connections. visitors could also visit inmates
from home on a skype connection
