Good Behavior
Interview with John and Viola
JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
: I bet the guard I could beat him at checkers, and
I won, so I got out early. If that's what you
mean by good behavior, then yeah, I guess I did.
Viola: No there was no letting go on good behavior for
jail.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Viola: I don't recall hearing anything about "good time"
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Viola: No I never witnessed anyone losing time off for
good behavior. they give you day for day on your
sentencing usually. as far as i am concerned every
time i've been to jail i serve half the time they
say i'm getting
