Meals

Interview with John and Viola

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
: I'm not quite sure how much it all added up to in reality, but they told us the IV drip was the equivalent to 3 square meals a day. I gained probably 15 pounds while I was in there, so I'll bet it was more like 4.
Viola: three meals a day breakfast lunch dinner

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
: Not too tasty.
Viola: they food in ogle county isn't too bad ive heard the reason for that is because they are a federal holding facility. we had things like cereal and some kind of sweet cake in the morning lunch was kind of sketchy as to what you got. meat ball sandwhich and a few other things werent bad and dinner there was lasagna cheeseburgers garlic bread pretty much meals you cook at home quality wasn't great but it was the best out of the four counties ive been to
