Closing Advice

Interview with Seth, Clark and Lisa

JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Seth: the fact that the rules there aren't the rules and that the police try to make the rules as they go it is a very unfair place as is most situations likes that but you can make it just don't get in others problems
Clark: I would tell them to get a good lawyer and do everything they can to help them get out of there. While it isn't the worst jail facility in the world, the staff were pretty bad and inconsiderate, the food is terrible, and boredom is constant. One of my cell mates was at the jail going on 3 years. Make sure to have someone put money on their commissary account as the amount of food provided is nowhere near enough. I would also tell them to make sure they change their phone password at least once a week.
Lisa: Please get to some type of class go to chapel. If things are not right have a loved one call the jail. You do have rights and at least have proper medical care

JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Seth: take money and try to establish a strong support team for your time also try to set up a pre paid phone account that way its less stress on your family
Clark: My advise is to get a good lawyer and spend time thinking about how best to approach your case. Don't spend a lot of time or money gambling, as many inmates do. Change your phone password at least once a week. Many of the cell blocks have balconies that overlook the phones and people would stand on these balconies and observe people entering their phone password, and then sell this password to others to use for free phone calls.
Lisa: Have a support team if possible. Don't be afraid to make complaints. The have to give u proper food and medcations. Stay in prayer and go to church. See one of the chaplins

JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to.
Seth: none
Clark: The Allen County jail is the only jail facility that I have ever been to. I have also been to the Allen County Juvenile facility once and as far as rehab facilities go, I've been to a few. I have experience with the Allen County Community Corrections system for drug abuse classes and supervision. Requesting that you do not use my last name on the public website, please.
Lisa: Rockville correctional facilit
