Interview with Clark

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Clark: There were seven and they were all identified by letters

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Clark: Numbers and letters. A B C D E F G

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Clark: Protective custody, female, maximum security, minimum security, medium security. It seemed like sometimes there was no rhyme or reason. a lot seemed to be based on a pre-assignment interview and your record

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Clark: the blocks that had the most serious offenders were always the quietest. protective custody was always the loudest and most troublesome on a regular basis. it was usually loud. they kept the cell doors locked most of the time so therefore you were locked out of your room for most of the day
