Interview with Viktor, Veronica and Paula

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Viktor: Jail Issue.
Veronica: none you have to buy underwear socks from the jail and they were expensive to buy
Paula: The only thing you could bring in and you had to be wearing them to get them in. Other than that you had to buy everything threw the jail. All white underclothes.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Viktor: Orange out of county. Blue and white stripes in Johnson County.
Veronica: you wore pants and shirts black and white stripped. and white underware white bra white socks and white tee shirts. and blue or orange shoes.
Paula: Your uniform was blue and white striped. You got 2 uniforms to last for the whole week. But they offered laundry once a week. You wear a shirt and pants.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Viktor: You get no choice.
Veronica: no everybody wore the same things black and white strips.
Paula: Everybody clothes are the same thing. But if being female if you knew someone in there and they had like tshirts or bras or socks if they was leaving you would ask them for them.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Viktor: No.
Veronica: no they are the same outfits.
Paula: No exactly the same uniforms.
