Interview with Melanie
JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Melanie: bra with no underwire that is it oh ya they also
let me keep my socks but nothing sent in
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Melanie: bright orange jumpsuit and it was so awkward when
you go to pee if you hadn't been able to buy your
whites yet your boobs were hangin out it was just
ill fitting and in poor condition
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Melanie: not really just some thing that isn't holey and
that fits proper
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Melanie: no the clothing for inmates were the same
