Meals

Interview with Melanie

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Melanie: 3 three meals a day well 4 if you count snacks I bought from machine

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Melanie: 2 they looked just like slop and when you did eat them half the time you had no clue what you were eating and to beat it all you were still starved. If you were to ever see it outside of there you would feed it to a dog but you a lot of the time had to eat it powder milk have you ever had it nasty

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Melanie: ramen noodles and chips out of vending machine and I don't know what it was called what the worst was it looked like someone chewed up a bunch of food and spit it out on the tray

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Melanie: yes vending machine food commissary was kind of small but it was a joy to go to if you could afford it it was pretty pricy it is how they make a lot of there money off charging $1.50 for a bag of .25 cent chips
