Good Behavior

Interview with Richard, Dave and Jon

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Richard: Yes my probation officer let me off early based on my efforts.
Dave: yes i did get good time while i was in jail
Jon: No

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Richard: I never had to deal with any of that I just had to report to my probation officer once a month,,drug test and finish my community service.
Dave: I belive it is 5 days off for every month
Jon: One day to a suspended sentences(it varies).

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Richard: I never had to deal with getting time off. I simply paid off my court fines finished my community service and I was done with everything.
Dave: yes i did, and just fighting or stealing or having contraband that was not allowed in the jail or allowed to be on you at th time
Jon: Depending of the crime and prior jail conduct can predict receiving good time. I've received time off from jail over crowding.
