Visitor Policy

Interview with Richard, Dave and Jon

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Richard: I never received visitors, I wasn't there long enough. Visitation had to scheduled ahead of time.
Dave: My family came in every other week to see me and visit with me and my brothers to
Jon: Once a week.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Richard: I never had visitors, so I have no idea. Not sure what to type here. I never spoke to any if the other inmate about it.
Dave: yes sort of, they had to be searched and checked for anything as well as leave phones outside and check identification as well and screen visits
Jon: Yes.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Richard: I never had visitors, so I have no idea. So I have the same answer to the last question. I never spoke to any other inmates about what the visiting environment was like. I never even saw the room or what it looked like. But im pretty sure that it is being monitored.
Dave: the visiting area was basically a room with phones on both sides of a glass window where you talked through the phone to the person on the other side. All the inmates getting vistors were in the same room on one side and family and friends on the other side
Jon: We viewed our visits on a video montering system.
