JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail? Tom: Money coming in would be nice. Sonja: as hard as it may be, try and be there for the
loved one and be supportive. Just because they may
have messed up they still love you and still need
your love. Kurt: its going to be tougher for the person going to
jail than it is for you, if you wanna help you
could give them money for commisary that helps a lot Marshall: A saying that always got me through that I
actually learned in there was; "Be cool, be
strong, cause if ya ain't got life then ya ain't
got long, keep ya head up".....
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them? Tom: Just mind your own business. Buy some phone cards
cause you can trade those for other things if you
want.
Sonja: my advice is to honestly, suck it up and get it
over with now. don't push it off if the choice
just get it done and put it in the past. Move on
and don't do stupid shit to get put back in.
remember the feeling you have while you're sitting
in jail. Kurt: its not hardcore, bring some money for commisary
if you have it, think of some books to request
from the librarian, dont get to worried, dont be
rude, sit with your own race Marshall: Quit smoking, quit salt, quit sugar, get all your
loose ends tied up before you go cause knowing if
and where is a huge privilege most inmates didn't
get and always always let your close family and
friends know how much you love them...
