Interview with Joe and Matt

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Joe: Not really sure I know they had a few
Matt: I think their were six

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Joe: I believe they were like d block a block and so on
Matt: they had a block b block c d e f g

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Joe: well they tried to put you on a block depending on your crime and your behavior if you were a trouble maker the sent you to the stricter blocks they also had to separate gang members
Matt: they had your regular criminals a on a b block and your sexual predators and our female block your mental ward and then the ones that could not get along in congregation

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Joe: The worst part was the people they put in with you. If they would have separated the crimes better, then it might not seemed so intense and scary for a person who was barely a minor. Being in with murderers was a little scary for someone my age. I learned a lot of bad habbits from the old people which made rehabilitation even more difficult.
Matt: I was only on two of the blocks but on b block it was nice to go to work instead of just sitting around all day and doing nothing and getting into fights had extra food and that was the best thing for me because I love to eat buddy
