JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Joe: yes for the most part
Matt: yes but not after ten o clock
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Joe: wow it use to be like 3.00 dollars for the frist
minute and like 1.00 for every minute after
thatno everything was collect back then
Matt: I believe it is two fifty per call i would say an
easy twenty five dollars a week easy
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Joe: No, every phone call was collect then.
Matt: no I did not thank you
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Joe: yes they had to for drugs escapes etc
Matt: not to my knowledge boy
