Closing Advice

Interview with Fred, Alfred and Darryl

JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Fred: Just stay in touch with them however you can. Take the calls if you get them.
Alfred: To support them as much as possible. Try to stay in contact and clothing and stuff, reading material to pass the time. Support is the best thing to give someone . Communications as best as possible without a lot of outside drama.
Darryl: I would tell them wear 3 pairs of underwear and socks going in. Try to make sure you have as much money as possible in your account at least $50 a week. Money is power, it helps you survive.

JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Fred: Keep your thoughts straight and keep your head high, I suppose.
Alfred: Stay strong, prepare yourself mentally. Look for anything to do to occupy you mind and time. Stay as positive as posssible. Worring what is happpening on the outsode won't help, it will just make things for worse.
Darryl: I would say just have a lot of patience and keep your mouth shut. I would not trust anyone no matter how nice they seem. Everyone is out for themselves

JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to.
Fred: No other ones.
Alfred: None
Darryl: none
