JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications? Clayton: it takes a while to get an intake with the
doctor but after verifying information with a
doctor i got medication regularly Darryl: No . whenI went in I was on a prescribed medicine
that you cannot just stop taking . They did not
give it to me for about two weeks .. dark days
indeed Kristofer: there was adoctor who you would have to see and
he would prescribe you what you needed, and the
nurses gave them out 3 times a day. They didn't
give out any pain meds for ANYTHING though
JM: How did you get your medications? Clayton: we had to line up at a medication window where a
record of our medications was kept Darryl: I reminded the COs daily until I was able to see a
Dr. As soon as they started me back on the medicine
they transferred me to D Hall and I had to start all
over again with the madness .. Kristofer: 3 times a day a nurse would come up with a
rolling table. she would get on oneside of a
bullet proof glass window and we lined up and
got our meds 1 at a time
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this? Clayton: i never did witness this Darryl: I have no idea . I never witnessed anything like
that . I dont even thin I saw a fight . Kristofer: yes, inmates tried to cheeck their medication
sometimes to trade for coffee or food later. If
you got caught you got sent to the hole and if
they caught youonce, they kept an extra close
eye on you every time after that
