Interview with Sparkie, Craig and Allison

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Sparkie: no
Craig: I didn't need any, but they came around daily for the people that did.
Allison: Yes although it took days for one's meds to arrive.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Sparkie: from medical and they had to give you what they had
Craig: They had a cart that a nurse brought in and people who receiced medications got in line for them.
Allison: A nurse came with a medical cart and dispenced meds. There was a long line as you showed your ID, he or she looked you up and handed you what was prescribed.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Sparkie: lockdown
Craig: No, I didn't witness anyone with or using drugs.
Allison: I only saw room raids. New charges and sometimes removal from the unit were the consequences. People brought in drugs and smoked marijuana often.
