Interview with Drew and Matt

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Drew: Actually I dids get out about seven weeks early based on good behavior.
Matt: No I did not. I was released with credit for time served.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Drew: I believe You can accrue one week of good time for every 21 days served without incidence or category two or three offenses
Matt: I believe the most time is half.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Drew: You need to avoid catagory two or three offenses I believe so know extremely violent or vulgar offenses especially against staff. yes my neighbor lost good time for fighting.
Matt: Avoid any altercations with other inmates, or the Correctional Officers. This includes verbal as well as physical. Avoid having any contraband, or illegal items. I never witnessed personally someone losing time off.
