JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Ruth: I didn't need meds like others so this aspect I
couldn't answer.
JM: How did you get your medications?
Ruth: In pill line after showing your ID. There were
still girls who cheeked their pills that is how
an inmate died at EWCC in 2012.
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Ruth: Witnessed plenty. I believe the punishment varied
from, fines all the way to shipment to higher
security. Not so much in county jail. no
ramifications there. What could they do.
