Interview with Ruth
JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Ruth: weekly
JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Ruth: Depending on the line of people waiting to get
in.
JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Ruth: Horrendous at EWCC and Avalon. EWCC had no a/c
for visitors during the summer and since things
weren't allowed in the facilities so some games
were provided, the games were half missing or
useless. Avalon when it rained the visiting (also
our mess hall) leaked so all tiles of ceiling
were missing and buckets throughout the room. My
daughter sat under a leak once.
