Medications

Interview with Brian

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Brian: I had no need for medication, though inmates did have access to routine medication and emergency care.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Brian: A medication card visited pods twice per day, and requests to visit the medical center could be filled out, with replies expected within 24 hours.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Brian: One incident involving smuggled narcotics caused a lockdown of the entire facility during my incarceration. The inmates in question were taken to solitary and charged with probation violations, possession charges and intent to distribute charges.
