Visitor Policy

Interview with Dodo and Misty

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Dodo: very limited, females only had 2 options, on a weekday, middle of the day, 1/2 hour. It seems that some pods had only one weekly option. Visiting policy served jail, not inmates.
Misty: You can have visitors one time per week. I'm not sure of the days because I didn't get visitors

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Dodo: no, but have to be on inmate visiting list and have proper i.d. every time. Children need birth certificates. Any disruptive or unruly behavior will result in removal from visiting and privileges may be suspended.
Misty: I'm not sure i know you have to be on the list and you have to have a drivers license or photo id to see someone.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Dodo: completely divided room, between glass and must use phone, sanitizing wipes were available but the area did not seem very clean. small stools to sit on. room is locked while you are in there. very strict timelines. more than one person can visit an inmate at once, such as both parents.
Misty: There is a glass window. You sit on one side and your family sits on the other side. There is a telephone that each family member picks up and you can talk. You get to visit with your family for thirty minutes that's all I know about visiting I didn't have visitors
