Medications

Interview with Tonya

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Tonya: No. They did not carry a lot of medications women needed. They would try to compensate with something else or basically you were off it. It was a horrible system.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Tonya: They called "Med Line" twice a day and you had to go to the other building which is where the Medical office was located. You stand in line and they hand out your meds.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Tonya: Yes. Segregation immediately and usually anyone in minimum would lose that privledge and get put into Med/Max after they served time in seg for the incident.
