Interview with Tonya

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Tonya: In minimum it was originally 6 days a week which was knocked down to 4. 5:30 pm - 7pm I believe.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Tonya: Initially yes but as the guards got to know the visitors it was less time. The initial process of requesting visitors took time seeing that they all have to have background checks and we needed ALL their information (Licence#,Birthdate etc) to put in the request which is difficult for people who are not family.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Tonya: Large cafeteria type room with multiple tables. Had to sit across from one another. Minimum hug's kisses upon arrival. No sharing food . Guard at the desk in front of the room watching everyone. Total strip search for the inmates when the visit is over to make sure nothing was passed to them.
