JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Lois: No body in my cell had access to any medications
but the nurse would come and
JM: How did you get your medications?
Lois: We had a nurse that came to our door under the
protection of the guards and she handed the
medication out according to a chart left for her
by the doctor
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Lois: Not really because it was very rare that anyone
had any illegal drugs in there and during my stay
there there was never any punishment administered
out but I recall one incident where the guards
came into the cell really early and made us all
leap out of our beds onto the floor because some
Marijuana had got in there some how and a couple
of dudes was burning it
