Sentencing

Interview with Lois

JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Lois: I was sentenced to a minimum of 3 years. It was suspended to supervised probation including community service, paying fines, court cost, and restitution. After the three years I revoked my probation and went in for 94 days and then I was released after my family got all my fines caught up. I was released but given another year of probation.

JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Lois: After sentencing no they did not. I stuck with the court appointed attorney and was given paperwork about what steps I had to take next and so I took those steps and started visiting my probation officer once weekly and then she started having me come in once monthly.
