Interview with Raymond

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Raymond: Ft Worth Prision was an old hospital, They had medical facility there and OII wpould say 3 or 4 other blocks where we lived and 2 or 3 blocks wherewe worked.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Raymond: I am not really understanding the question here. Did who leave names?

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Raymond: Ft Worth was a low level Prison. All types of criinal were housed there, (particularly if you haad a medical condition. Alot of blue collar crimes were there...a few drug crimes ...and I know one guy had murdered someone.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Raymond: At the time none of it was good . It was all bad. Looking back it was not so bad. Monday thru Friday you worked 8-4, Saturday and Sunday you had your visitors. Of course the hospital was the nicest of all. The people who lived in the hospital did not have to work.
