JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process: Raymond: Was held in Dallas Courty for about 6 months,
while awaiting to see Judge. Was a terrrible time.
Would be taken to over to the court house and
first couple ogf times, my court date was
canceled. Once I was taken over there and they
forgot abut me , did not pick me up till 8:30 or
9:00. WEas kind of scary
JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested. Raymond: One of my best friends , went to gade school with
had gotten busted. Everyone asked me if he was
turning people,I said, yes, but he won't turn
me.Famous last words. After e turned me, they
came to y house about 8:00 or 9:00 in the morning
and busted the front door down.
JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall. Raymond: Court was a quick short time, I remembering
thinking I had just put my destiny in the judges
hands. When the judge said guilty, y head was
sspinning. Then they took me back to the holding
tank and that was the night they nisplaed me. It
was nice being by myself, but scary at the same
time.
JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of? Raymond: my origional charge was when I work for the post
office I took some of the credit cards, I got a 5
year probation for that...then I only liked a
week or two and that dear good frienfd of my
turned me and then I was charged with a delivery
of controled substance.
