Interview with Dylan

JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Dylan: yes their was a phone access until lights out. I never really used the phone because the fees were freakin outrages so I stuck with writing letters.

JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Dylan: I dont exactly remember I just know they were alot some conversations could be like 10 dollars it wasnt worth it to me. But you did have inmates that had money that would be on the phone alot some would rather talk then eat, but it was rediculous.

JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Dylan: yes you could buy phone cards or someone in freeworld could set an account for you at like walmart and you could use that account as long as they keep refilling it.

JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Dylan: yes they do even though they dont tell you its pretty obvious, your in jail of course theyre going to listen in.
