Interview with Fred
JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Fred: Yes, everybody went through medical at intake and setup
medications.
JM: How did you get your medications?
Fred: I didn't receive medication but for other inmates the medical staff
would come to the pod before each meal and would serve the
inmates in a line at the door.
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Fred: I never witnessed somebody being caught for drug use but I did see
people get caught with cigarettes. They would get sent to the
whole for 30 days typically.
