Interview with Fred

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Fred: If you were aware you could request to keep your boxers durring dress out but staff wouldn't offer the information.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Fred: We were issued two pair of white tube socks, three pair of orange briefs, 2 pair of red elastic pants and two red pullover heavy fabric shirts that said Pinal county jail. They were color coded. I had red for high security, stripes for trustee, blue for other inmates and brown for protected custody.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Fred: No, I would just try and get newer cleaner looking clothes.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Fred: Yes women wore same outfits but were yellow.
