JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)? Stacy: our jail uniforms Ron: Nothing. Everything you wear is provided by the jail. THey give you
two pairs of everything. Tom: I can brought in a pair of white socks, a pair of
the white t-shirt, and a pair of boxers.
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you. Stacy: Yes it was blue for our pod, pants and top. Ron: THere was the shirt. A striped inmate style. Pants. Also striped
inmate style. Gray socks, and brown boxers. Like I said there were
two of everything. Tom: They assigned me an orange jumpsuit to wear, and a
pair of sandals which was not comfortable to wear
even with the socks on my feet.
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned? Stacy: Don't think so Ron: Im not sure what you mean. Everyone got the same things to wear.
oh except some people had thermals. Long sleeve shirts. Tom: I'd say it was the sandals which was in the high
demand.
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women? Stacy: They were different for each pod, depending on
the degree of the crime, like people who
murdered someone wore orange I believe, and they
had a pod for the people on work release and I
think they got to wear their regular clothes,
and had washers and dryers in their pod. I think
it was the same for the men Ron: Nope pretty much basically the same. Tom: No, they were same for the both sexes.
