JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Ben: Try to keep money on their books because just
having the money on your books you can get your
commissary, your own shampoo, soap, etc. The
stuff the jail gives you is crap. You can also
buy things like T-shirts, underwear, socks. They
only let you have the underwear that you came in
and they only do laundry once a week, so make sure
they have money to buy those kinds of things.
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Ben: Just mind your business.
