JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Ben: Yes... when I first got there I had a kidney
infection. Saw a doctor on the 3rd day. After
that they gave antibiotics every day just as I
needed.
JM: How did you get your medications?
Ben: A nurse brings around a med cart.
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Ben: They would go to the hole and get charges. If you
had a little bit of weed on you outside its a
misdemeanor but to bring it into the jail its a
felony.
