Visitor Policy

Interview with Kyle, Alan and Mary

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Kyle: I believe 3 times a week. Anytime for attorneys.
Alan: you can see people one a week for 30 minutes through a thick price of glass
Mary: You had certain days by your last name I did not want anyone to come and see me so I never got a visit

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Kyle: I don't know. I had no visitors. I have been told it takes over an hour to check-in.
Alan: yes it was a big gruop and you had to wait in line sometimes for hours waiting to get in to see your family member or friend
Mary: yes you had to send a form to the family member and they had to approve the person you wanted to come see you and then they have to go through the check in process

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Kyle: They say it is not contact, only through a television screen.
Alan: it was you on one side of a thick peice of glass and threy were on the other side you used a phone to talk to each other sometimes it got loud because you had about 20 people talking all at the same time it was hard to hear sometimes
Mary: bare it was a big room with plexi glass separating the room and you have to stand and yell for the whole visit I know this because the attorney room is across but I never had a visit on what I have heard and seen. I wouldn't want anyone to see me there
