Interview with Kandra and Paul

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Kandra: No. I did not get off early based on good behavior. I think that applies when in prison, not jail.
Paul: i got out 10 day early, im not sure if it was because of over crouding or good behavior, but i never had a problem

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Kandra: I am not sure. But in Miami, if you participate in GED or other courses offered by the facilities you can receive up to 5 days off a month.
Paul: 20 % and thats with your officers approval

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Kandra: I don't think inmates lose time off. The most that can happen is new charges can occur which can add on to your time. Otherwise, inmates are sent to solitary confinement where they lose privileges to mingle with others as well as tv time.
Paul: joining in a group of people in the yard, getting envolved in beef's i saw a lot of times a dude would be close to finishing his sentence with good time and get into a fight or hold somebody elses STUFF
