Interview with Kandra and Paul

JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Kandra: I was not sentenced. The judge dismissed the case because there was no representative from Publix grocery there.
Paul: 6 months not using good time

JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Kandra: I was only booked and processed during this arrest. But I was there for over 12 hours. The procedure for booking and processing can take very long as well as the wait time for the paperwork to follow through for bail. Meanwhile, everyone sits either in the chairs while waiting for pictures and fingerprinting (and others) or either in a cell. Depends on the mood of the officers.
Paul: after sentencing we go to a room where people go to be prepared to be taken to where they are sentenced to, it was scary, because i was in there with murderer's, bank robbers, rapist, men with mental issues and sexual preditors
