Interview with Cody and Nicole

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Cody: 8 on each floor, and there were 4 floors. 32 pods total.
Nicole: There were only two decks or blocks for females.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Cody: I was on the 4th floor, which they called 4A, 4B, 4C, up to H. All the floors were named like this.
Nicole: They did have names. There were 4A or 4B. No special names.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Cody: They put leser crimes in one pod. I was in a pod with felonies and kidnapping.
Nicole: Everyone was housed in with each other. There weren't any special rules or regulations. However, people that had committed murders or really serious crimes were placed in protective custody for their safety.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Cody: We would go to an inside exercise room inside with no windows. Two pods share the exercise room. From what I saw the pods were pretty much the same.
Nicole: The nicest parts of the decks were probably that there were two tv's. One on each side, so you were usually able to catch something interesting on TV, and from the cell, you could see the TV so you wouldn't necessarily have to go out on the deck. The worst parts were probably the small space, and too many inmates. It was always way too loud.
