Meals

Interview with Wade and Casey

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Wade: We got 3 per day
Casey: 3 meals per day . .

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Wade: Well most of the food was ok tasteing it takes some time to get use to it the Worse part is that they never fill you very small portions so you are always left hungry after some meals are just to bad to eat like the soy burgers were the worse
Casey: The food was truly disgusting. I would rate the food a 0.5 out of 10. It was full of carbs and sugars. There wasn't any protein and no vitamins or nutrients. The food made me feel fat, weak, unhealthy, and lazy. One can eat hotdogs and sandwiches only so many times.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Wade: Yes every single persons favorite meal was the fried chicken and hash browns it actually tasted like real outside food
Casey: They were all my least favorite meals and to this day I cannot eat hotdogs or sandwiches. Thank you for asking.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Wade: No the only other food you get besides meals is canteen it's kinda expensive it has similar prices to a convent store but we would mix different canteen items together to make our own meals called mixes
Casey: Commissary was the only way to buy snacks, which were, again, FULL of CARBS AND SUGARS. There are no options for healthy eating in any facility. They do not allow you to eat healthy or provide options.
