Interview with Wade and Casey
JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Wade: Yes if you are prescribed it
Casey: Yes we had access to medication
JM: How did you get your medications?
Wade: A med cart comes 3 times a day and you get in line and you
must swallow in front of the cop to show you took it
Casey: The nurse would come with a cart to personally
deliver medication during designated times. If
you needed medication outside of that time frame,
they would send you to medical and see a nurse there.
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Wade: Ya most times if you got coughs with drugs you get 30 days in
the whole plus maybe even a new case
Casey: I don't know what they would do for the abuse of
drugs in the facility. I had heard that the
officers file new charges and you see a judge but
I was never a witness.
