Meals

Interview with Clinton and Brooke

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Clinton: Three.
Brooke: Three meals per day. that was it.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Clinton: The food is terrible.
Brooke: AWFUL. It was so gross and fixed by other inmates so you never know who could be jacking off in your food. Served to you through a door and you either got "juice with it" sugar water and dye or you got a warm milk in the morn. I swear the food made my physically ill.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Clinton: For breakfast its either really runny oatmeal or hard cereal, lunch is almost always processed patties, and usually you will have a little corn or some other vegetable with it. Dinner was usually a processed patty too.
Brooke: NO. The food was all gross. You couldn't make it taste good and I gagged every time I ate. BTW I was pregnant one of the times I was in jail. WORST nightmare for a child.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Clinton: Only stuff you order off commissary.
Brooke: You could buy commissary and if you were pregnant you could get a free snack. Usually an apple or something. Commissary was very expensive they made a lot of money off of it each year.
