Interview with Lily, padilla and Dawn

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Lily: no comment!
padilla: Do not know
Dawn: I only knew of 2 for the woman.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Lily: none
padilla: No
Dawn: the first block i was in was called c pod. I spent the majority of my sentence in the general pod.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Lily: every body was housed in normal if not you were in the med dorm.
Dawn: In Ottawa County Jail I don't think there are different blocks for certain inmates at least the women. I was in jail with just about every type of inmate except for women who were convicted of murder, armed robbery, ect...

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Lily: i don't remember
padilla: No
Dawn: The nicest thing about the c pod was that it was bigger and there was more room for walking. The worst part of it was it was always cold. The best part of the gen pod was there was carpet instead of cement, a limit of 20 women, real toilets.
