Lily: After all the stress and back in forth to court i was sentenced 16 months.
Dawn: I was on probation for a 2nd offense domestic violence. i had a lawyer so the charge was dropped to a 2nd offense. I drove to the court house and waiting in the court room for judge Jonas to call me to the podium. I didn't wait too long and the process was easy I was guilty.

They contacted my probation officer in holland and he was in contact with me. He informed me that he knew what had happened and I was scheduled a court date to apper in front of a judge.

JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Lily: I was in the county blues

Dawn: Going to court is always a nerve wrecking experience for me. I had to drive from benton harbor to Holland so i was usually early. I thought was nice that there was a cafe just walking distance away from the court house. The court process was down to point and quick. Of course i did end up going to jail.

JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of?
Dawn: My original charge was domestic 2nd offense and I was charged with probation violation.
