Interview with Lily and Dawn

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Lily: 2 a weekend
Dawn: A person was able to receive 2 days a week. I was so far away from my family that no one could visit me.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Lily: no
Dawn: No from what I understand is that a visitor is checked in by name and must present an identification card such as a license. i heard that the waiting is long.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Lily: ok
Dawn: I personally did not like their waiting room. I had one visitor which was another inmates sibling that i had been writing to for over a month. When i finally had a visit i was walked into a small room with 5 or 6 phones. there was a fiber glass window between the visitor and i. We were able to meet for 15-20 minutes and talk via phone. It was hard to hear my visitor due to the other inmates also visiting their loved ones and friends.
