Interview with Rachel, Paula and Lindsey

JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Rachel: ONLY MAKE NECESSARY CALLS. MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS. CONSIDER, SERIOUSLY, WHETHER YOU COULD JUST DO YOUR TIME THERE AND GET IT OVER WITH INSTEAD OF CHALLENGING THE SYSTEM, GOING TO COURT ETC. BECAUSE, UNLESS YOU LOSE YOUR JOB OR SOMETHING, IT IS ALL RELATIVE. FREEDOM IS GOOD BUT SO IS NOT SUCOMBING TO PRESSURE-JUST DO THE TIME AND BE DONE WITH IT.
Paula: That this jail charges a "Daily Housing Fee" of $20.00 and a bill for the amount owed will be generated at the time you leave the jail. This bill becomes part of your court fees and costs
Lindsey: If you have a loved one going to Boone County jail you should try your best to make sure they can be able to call you because that really helps with encouragement and helps because that person will have something good to look forward to.

JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Rachel: DO NOT TRUST ANYONE (WHILE IN JAIL) THAT YOU DID NOT PREVIOUSLY TRUST.
Paula: To just keep your head down and do your own time without getting too involved with too many inmates. Get into a daily routine and stick to it. This will seemingly make your time go by faster
Lindsey: My advice to anone that might be serving time in this jail would be to try and keep to yourself, do your time with no complaining because its your own fault ou are in here when it comes down to it, and dont let what anyone says getto you, and keep your head up!
