Interview with Frank and Adam

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Frank: We could not bring in any clothes to wear in this jail but we could buy some if we had the money.
Adam: you are allowed whites only and no one can bring them in you had to either have them on when you came in or order thru commissary

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Frank: We were given striped clothing consisting of black and whites strips and when washed together they often turned grey. Most of the time, they were dirty.
Adam: there were designed like scrubs same material and pattern but black and white stripes they are passed out on sundays and Wednesdays only by a c.o.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Frank: No, that was not an option that was available to us.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Frank: No, the women wore the same outfit.
